Really?

Firstly, it's cute that writer and director Alexandre Rockwell likes to cast his kids in his movies. But when the result is a black and white (pointless in doing so), bland, long dragged out whatever you want to call this genre - film, trying to pass it off as something better than top historically amazing films with such high reviews - currently 48 reviews being 4x 9/10's and 44x 10/10's, is a joke. They are all clearly flagrant shill new account or crew reviews meant to fool potential viewers. It speaks volumes about the filmmakers confidence in his own work to resort to such pathetic and desperate tactics, and is an embarrassment to honest filmmakers. This should have been a short film, shot on an old camcorder, meant to be viewed only in Rockwell's living room with his family and some close and very patient friends. Don't waste your time on this one.

Great film in the vain of "our gang" Great for kid and their parents. A wonderful adventure.
